After nearly 15 years of working as a full time independent contractor out of my home in Burlington, I moved into my own space at Vermont Green Offices in September 2011.

Here, I truly enjoy the shared office environment, the daily contact with other like-minded professionals, as well as the proximity to downtown, to the bike path and to Burlington’s beautiful waterfront.

Ben Gordesky: Founder & President

“I run two businesses out of my office at Vermont Green Offices. I have been doing septic system designs as Earthbound Services, LLC for more than 6 years. I’m a Licensed Septic Designer with the VT Agency of Natural Resources. My specialty is incorporating composting toilets and other alternative wastewater systems into wastewater designs. For the past 4 years, I have also worked in the small hydro power field.

Since 2009, I’ve also worked part-time as Renewable Energy Manager for DC Energy Innovations, installers of solar and wind electric systems for residential, commercial, and non-profit customers. As DC Energy is a full service electrical contracting company, we are staffed mostly by licensed electricians and qualified technicians. We install our renewable energy systems, like all the work we do, accurately and to code.

I have been a tenant at Vermont Green Offices since April, 2007. The proximity to home and the friendly, supportive environment at Vermont Green Offices has enabled me to expand professionally into the renewable energy field. This had been a dream of mine for some years.”
